Where a job needs a part, you have a choice, and we explain it rather than decide for you. Genuine parts are made by, or to the exact specification of, the manufacturer. Quality aftermarket parts come from established parts companies, to the same fit and function, often at a lower price. For a newer car genuine is usually the right call; for an older one a quality aftermarket part often makes more sense.
